The consortium PIs strongly believe that implementation of the DiSeTCom will results in a considerable enhancement of the potential and future career prospects of the ERs and ESRs involved. Specifically, by the end of the project lifecycle, very well balanced profiles of the DiSeTCom researchers will allow them either to be promoted in their home organizations, or to get tenure-track positions in academy (e.g. in material science, electromagnetics, THz spectroscopy) or high-rank positions in industry (e.g. in wireless communication, remote sensing) via world-wide professional network of the consortium. That is despite a tight competition in the European research job market (e.g. in Italy, only 8.1% of University researcher have a chance to get a tenure-track position at the end of their post-doctoral work) the project will make a strong impact on the career of the project participants.
